About Me

From a very young age, I had a passion for supporting others in order to make them feel less alone on their journeys, since I have always felt emotions and compassion for others in a very profound sense.I have developed into the psychotherapist I am today by drawing on my own personal experiences and healing journey, my many years of study and training to become a psychotherapist, and my profound belief that we are far more alike than we realise. However, my approach to treatment is very much guided by the client. I don’t believe there is a one-size-fits-all form of therapy. To help my clients heal, find peace, and live their happiest, most fulfilling lives, I take pleasure in creating a warm, compassionate, and safe space for them.

I am a qualified pre-accredited therapist with the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). I hold a Master’s degree in Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy with an Undergraduate degree achieved in Social Care Studies. As a pluralistic Therapist, I have been trained in a broad range of therapeutic approaches, including humanistic, psychodynamic, and cognitive therapy. I work with clients experiencing challenges, including specific life events, anxiety, stress, depression, relationship issues, career issues, self-esteem and confidence, or generalised life dissatisfaction. I am a health promotion practitioner and have accumulated a wealth of knowledge in the health and wellbeing division, which I incorporate into my sessions.  I am trained in several different modalities and offer clients a range of therapies. I have recently trained as a Breathwork Coach so I can support the body and mind to heal simultaneously. I have a diverse international work history, which has provided me with an open-minded and non-judgmental view towards people and their experiences. I understand that life can provide immense challenges, and working together to overcome them is one of my passions. I regard empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard as crucial for the development of this alliance towards battling life’s challenges.

I have worked with some of the most vulnerable and marginalised communities, including individuals and families from various backgrounds with complex needs. I have a very gentle, compassionate approach, yet I can challenge my clients in a helpful, supportive manner. I understand it can be difficult taking the first step to make contact, but every enquiry is dealt with in strict confidence and with the utmost sensitivity. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to identify your needs. If you would like to know more, please phone or make an enquiry.
